Julio Jones misses practice again

A week after returning from a hamstring injury with a breakout game against the Colts, Falcons receiver Julio Jones aggravated the injury against the Saints.
He hasn’t practiced on Wednesday or Thursday of this week, decreasing the likelihood that he’ll be available for Sunday’s game against the Titans.
The sixth pick in the 2011 draft, the Falcons gave up a mini-Herschel Walker package to move from the low 20s into the top 10.  When healthy, Jones has played well.  But he hasn’t been healthy for a while.
At 5-4, the Falcons and Titans have the same record.  Though it’s easy to assume the Falcons will avoid falling to .500, the Titans suddenly can see a path to first place in the AFC South, given that Matt Leinart is the new quarterback of the 7-3 Texans.
If the Titans can win, they’ll be only one game behind the Texans, with six games to play.
