Seahawks Reach One-Year Deal With DE Raheem Brock

The Seattle Seahawks have reached agreement with one of their own free agents, bringing 33-year-old defensive end Raheem Brock back on a one-year contract, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but after coming off the bench to establish a career-high with nine quarterback sacks, including six in the final five weeks of the season, Brock figures to get a raise over the league minimum he signed for last September after he was released by the Tennessee Titans.

Brock added a pair of quarterback sacks in Seattle's two post-season games.

A 2002 seventh-round pick out of Temple by the Philadelphia Eagles, Brock has started 104 of 136 games during his nine-year career with the Indianapolis Colts and Seahawks, totaling 319 tackles and 37.5 quarterback sacks.

Brock worked out for the New England Patriots on Wednesday.
