Gates injures hamstring on Saturday, is questionable for Monday

The Chargers may or may not have veteran tight end Antonio Gates available on Monday night, when they visit the Cardinals to cap Week One.
The team’s final injury report lists Gates as questionable with a hamstring injury.  The injury apparently happened during practice on Saturday.  For Thursday and Friday, Gates didn’t appear on the report.  Saturday, he participated on a limited basis.
Also questionable, which by definition means 50-50, for the Chargers are safety Jahleel Addae (hamstring), defensive end Lawrence Guy (shoulder), defensive tackle Sean Lissemore (ankle), and linebacker Mani Te’o (foot).
Receiver Keenan Allen (ribs) and cornerback Jason Verrett (ribs) are probable.
If Gates doesn’t play, that will result in more opportunities for Ladarius Green, who already is listed separately as a second starting tight end on the team’s depth chart.
