Greg Jennings may miss Thursday’s game with a groin injury

Greg Jennings‘ contract year isn’t off to a great start.
He caught five passes for only 34 yards in a 30-22 loss to the 49ers, and now Jennings may not be able to play on Thursday night, when the Packers host the Bears.
Via the Associated Press, Jennings injured his groin late in Sunday’s game.  Coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that Jennings “didn’t feel very good” on Sunday night, but that he felt better on Monday morning.
The Packers, 15-1 last year and 0-1 after the home loss, desperately need to avoid emerging from the first 25 percent of their home schedule with an 0-2 record.
A seventh-year veteran, Jennings has played his entire career with the Packers.  He’s due to become a free agent in March, and he reportedly isn’t interested in talking any further about a new deal during the season.
