Gabbert good to go, despite banged up “butt muscle”

The Week Three injury report roundup, as compiled last night by Josh Alper, made no reference to Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert.
And for good reason.  Gabbert, after getting banged up in Week Two against the Texans, is ready to roll against the Colts.
Gabbert had an injury, as explained by coach Mike Mularkey, to the “butt muscle” against Houston.  Gabbert didn’t miss a snap in practice this week.
More encouraging for the Jags is that cornerback Derek Cox will make his 2012 debut, after overcoming a hamstring injury.
A first-round pick in 2011, Gabbert has four career wins, two of which came against the Colts.  If the Colts win Sunday, the No. 1 pick in the 2012 draft will already be halfway to Gabbert’s career victory total.
