Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger was interviewed for the open head-coaching slot yesterday, but the Tennessean reports that another name has surfaced: Jim Mora Jr.
Mora has been the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and the Seattle Seahawks and now would like to coach the Titans. "If they were to express interest, I would certainly be interested," said Mora, according to the paper. He's led his previous teams to a combined 31-33 record.
The 58-year-old Heimerdinger, who has been offensive coordinator for the Titans for eight seasons, was the second in-house candidate to be interviewed. Offensive-line coach Mike Munchak was interviewed Monday and is considered the favorite.
