The fans who were not allowed to sit in some of the Cowboys Stadium temporary seats after a fire marshal failed to approve them have been brought into the stadium, according to the NFL.
"The 400 fans in sections 425A and 430A that were not able to be accommodated with seats were taken inside the stadium to watch the game on monitors in the North Field Club behind the Pittsburgh bench," the statement read. "They also had the option of viewing the game from standing room platforms in each corner of the stadium. In addition, these fans will each receive a refund of triple the cost of the face value of their ticket. The face value of these tickets is $800. We regret the situation and apologize for the inconvenience it caused. We will conduct a full review of this matter."
The NFL was able to accommodate approximately 850 other people who were affected by the temporary-seating fiasco by putting them in seats that had not been sold.
"We routinely hold back tickets in the event problems may arise," the NFL said. "In addition, the Cowboys and the NFL returned tickets."
Another issue the NFL had to contend with on Sunday were lingering concerns that ice could fall from the roof of the stadium, prompting officials to close four of 10 entrances. Six people were injured on Friday when ice slid off the stadium, striking them.

Sounds like an unforturnate situation, but I give the NFL credit for trying to fix it and do what is fair.
