Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel is officially questionable for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.
Cassel had an emergency appendectomy last week and was sidelined for the Chiefs' game against the San Diego Chargers.
"It's not a normal injury that a lot of us have experience with," coach Todd Haley said. "We're going to have to defer to the medical staff, trainers, him."
He practiced this week, and is expected to be a game-time decision.
If he can't play, the Chiefs will start Brodie Croyle again. Croyle is 0-10 as a starter.
