Woodley out, Harrison probable for Steelers
It looks like the Steelers are going to shuffle their outside linebackers for their big Sunday nighter against the Ravens.
LaMarr Woodley has been ruled out of the game with the hamstring injury he suffered against the Patriots last week, but they should have James Harrison back. Harrison went through a full practice Friday and is listed as probable, although he still needs official medical clearance to get back on the field against Baltimore. Harrison has missed the last four games with a fractured right orbital bone.
“I’d definitely like to go,” Harrison said, via Scott Brown of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “I hope they don’t got me out here practicing for nothing.”
The Steelers are expected to start Jason Worilds, who has missed the last four games with a thigh injury, in place of Woodley. The status of another injured linebacker, James Farrior, remains up in the air. Farrior said Friday that he feels ready to play, but he’s listed as questionable by the team. Wide receiver Hines Ward is also listed as questionable and, like Farrior, he said he expects to return to the lineup after missing the Patriots game.
Two other Steelers were ruled out for Sunday. Guard Doug Legursky will miss the game with a toe injury and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will be in Texas after the death of his mother.
