Redskins Players Organizing Workouts

With the lockout continuing, Washington Redskins linebacker Lorenzo Alexander is organizing informal practices for later this month, Rich Campbell of the Free Lance-Star reports.

According to Campbell, U.S. District Judge Susan Nelson needing a couple of weeks to rule on an injunction that would lift the lockout prompted the players to organize the workouts.

"It’s not the best, but it’s better than nothing," said Alexander. "You don’t want to lose some games or be out there not performing well because you don’t really remember what’s going on."

Media will not be welcome at the workouts.
