Hasselbeck Could Be On Titans' Radar

If the Seattle Seahawks cannot reach a contract extension with quarterback Matthew Hasselbeck, the 35-year old veteran could end up in Nashville, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.

Several former Seahawks executives and scouts are now in the Tennessee Titans front office. Most notably among them is general manager Mike Reinfeldt, who as a consultant with the Seahawks, negotiated Hasselbeck's six-year, $48 million contract extension following the 2004 season.

Reinfeldt was also the Green Bay Packers Vice President of Football Administration when Hasselbeck was selected in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL Draft, and followed Holmgren to Seattle in 1999.

In 14 starts in 2010, Hasselbeck completed 59.9% of his 444 pass attempts for 3,001 yards with 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. Hasselbeck stepped up his performance during Seattle's surprise appearance in the post-season, completing 48-of-81 pass attempts for 530 yards with 7 touchdowns and just one interception.
