Eagles OT King Dunlap Arrested for Reckless Driving

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle King Dunlap was arrested and charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct on Friday in Nashville, Tennessee, Nicole Young of The Tennessean reports.

According to the statement issued by Metro Police, Dunlap, 25, drove his 2004 Cadillac Escalade onto a sidewalk/plaza outside Bridgestone Arena, which was playing host the 2011 SEC Women's Basketball tournament, to pick up his father, who is in a wheelchair.

Approached by officers, who reportedly explained to Dunlap that he was not allowed to drive his physical onto that area, and that they would assist his father to the vehicle, Dunlap refused to move and was placed under arrest.

Dunlap (6-9, 330) is a Nashville native who played his college ball at Auburn. A seventh-round pick in 2008, Dunlap has appeared in 26 games over the last two seasons, making five starts last season.
