Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt caught a break in his theft by deception case.
His felony case in Jersey City, New Jersey was reduced to a misdemeanor, according to the Tennessean.
Britt allegedly failed to live up a commitment to pay $12,500 in bail money for a friend.
A complaint accused Britt of "creating or reinforcing a false impression by stating in open court that he would pay the bail amount."
He didn't appear in court and is apparently out of the country.
Britt was assigned a Feb. 22 court date.
If convicted, he could face a fine.
The Titans are still waiting for Britt to grow up and conduct himself more professionally off the field.
On the field, he's an extremely talented player.
