The New Orleans Saints have signed running back Julius Jones and released kicker John Carney.
Wynn has played in four games for the Saints this year and made two tackles on special teams.
Seattle released Jones earlier this month. He was the Seahawks’ leading rusher the past two seasons.
The 46-year-old Carney signed with the Saints in September to fill in for the team’s struggling kicker, Garrett Hartley—who is poised to reclaim the job with Carney’s departure.
The team also announced Tuesday that it signed safety Matt Giordano, a free agent, and waived running back DeShawn Wynn.
Giordano is a six-year veteran who played four seasons with Indianapolis.
