Terrelle Pryor unlikely to play on Sunday
Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor was cleared to practice in a limited capacity today, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be ready to play on Sunday.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Pryor is unlikely to play for Oakland in Sunday’s game against Washington.
Pryor suffered a concussion late in Monday night’s loss to the Broncos when Denver’s Wesley Woodyard drilled him with a hit that Pryor thought was illegal but the officials (and Raiders coach Dennis Allen) thought was clean.
If Pryor is out, Matt Flynn will get the start for the Raiders. The last time Flynn started a game, it was Week 17 of the 2011 season, when Flynn started for the Packers and completed 31 of 44 passes for 480 yards and six touchdowns. Given the sorry state of Washington’s defense, perhaps Flynn will put up similar numbers on Sunday.
