Texans pull Arian Foster from practice with knee soreness

As the first Sunday of the regular season approaches, Texans running back Arian Foster has given his team a scare.

Foster left practice Thursday with a knee injury.

“Arian said his knee was sore so we pulled him out,” coach Gary Kubiak said after practice, via comments transcribed and distributed by the team.

Linebacker Brooks Reed also left practice early, with a hip injury. Kubiak expects both players to be available on Sunday, for the regular-season opener against the Dolphins
