Day with Tebow attracts $100,000 bid

On Saturday, the 2nd annual the Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic occurred at the TPC Sawgrass Players Stadium Course.

But something other than golf is creating the biggest buzz.

According to Hayes Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union, a woman bid $100,000 to spend a day with Tebow. The money will help fund his foundation’s charitable works.

“It was incredible,” Tebow said. “It’s humbling. You don’t feel worthy, but when people care about your cause and know that you’re trying to do something for other people it’s amazing to see what can happen.”

Tebow also should be glad that Rob Gronkowski didn’t show up with $100,001.
