The Tashard Choice era is over in Washington

There was a lot of fanfare regarding Tashard Choice moving to the Redskins. Well, at least for a running back.
There will likely be less fanfare for Choice’s release just a few weeks later.
The Redskins waived the former Cowboys running back on Tuesday after only one game where Choice was active. Dallas held Choice to nine yards on seven touches, and Mike Shanahan decided he had seen enough.
The team activated rookie Evan Royster from the practice squad to take Choice’s place. We’re sure this move will usher in an era of productivity and predictability in the Redskins backfield.
