James Harrison set to go under the knife

Despite recording a sack, Steelers linebacker James Harrison was unusually quiet during the Super Bowl.   One reason may have been an injury that was bothering him.
Harrison revealed on his Twitter account that he’s undergoing surgery on Monday and will be “down” 4-6 weeks.
While the linebacker doesn’t reveal what the surgery is for, he injured his shoulder against the Ravens in the Divisional Round.  NFL.com’s wire reports indicated Harrison will undergo surgery on his right shoulder.  (Although it’s possible they are just putting two and two together.)
The injury could help to explain Harrison’s relatively quiet game.  We focused in on Harrison for much of the game through our binoculars and he dropped into coverage far more than usual, and wasn’t that effective when he rushed the passer against Chad Clifton.
