Cowboys' offensive line must receive facelift

OLT Doug Free quietly had a strong season, his first as a starter, and gave the Cowboys a piece of a foundation up front. However, he might be the only 2010 starter that can be said about. The other four feasibly could be replaced, if not this offseason than in the next year. C Andre Gurdoe made the Pro Bowl but did not play at a commensurate level. The team would not hesitate to find a replacement for him if it can. The problem is that there are needs at the two OG spots and at right tackle. OLG Kyle Kosier, ORG Leonard Davis and ORT Marc Colombo all appear to be on the decline, but replacing all of them in one offseason could prove to be difficult. There are some young options on the roster to consider. C Phil Costa, an undrafted free agent in 2010, opened eyes and could be an option, and there has been some talk of moving Gurode to guard. ORT Sam Young, a ’10 sixth-rounder, also could replace Colombo.
