Terrell Owens’ season is over
The first and possibly final season of Terrell Owens in Cincinnati is over.
T.O. left Sunday’s game with a knee injury that was later diagnosed as a meniscus tear. The Bengals confirmed he won’t be back this season shortly after the game is over.
While the season ended with a thud, this was an impressive comeback season by Owens. He finishes with 72 catches, 983 yards, and nine touchdowns. He only topped 25 yards, however, one time in his last four starts.
Owens hung around on the free agent market last offseason for a long time. No matter what happens with the collective bargaining agreement, we suspect that will be the case once again in 2011.
