Sanchez reportedly has cartilage tear in his shoulder

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has a slight cartilage tear in his right shoulder, according to the New York Daily News.
Sanchez had what Jets coach Rex Ryan called a precautionary measure earlier this week.
Sanchez is still expected to start Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
"I think he's going to be able to go," Ryan said.
Sanchez said he plans to play.
"Whether I am or not, I'm in there," Sanchez said. "I'm playing. That's all there is to it. I got to be on the field. That's what I'm here for and that's what I'm going to do. I'm being safe about it. I'm in it for the long haul."
