Mike Tolbert carted off with neck sprain

There was a scary moment during the San Diego Chargers' 34-20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Running back Mike Tolbert was carted off the field with a sprained neck and a bruised shoulder.
Fortunately, the injuries weren't more serious.
“I wanted to (get up), but they were being cautious,” Tolbert told the San Diego Union-Tribune. “Whenever you get in the head and the neck area, the shoulders, stuff like that, it’s better to be safe than sorry.”
Tolbert was down on the ground for several minutes.
It's the last thing anyone wants to have happen at a football game.
Tolbert is expected to recover.
“I was just trying to finish off the run, kind of got contorted up in there a little,” Tolbert said. “I felt the pain and the trainers and the doctors were being cautious.
“My neck was hurting and the trainers were just taking precautionary measures. I was lucid the whole time. It was just one of those things that happen, one of those football things.”
