Ravens make Ed Reed move official

Ravens safety Ed Reed said he wanted to make sure his hip felt good on Saturday before he knew if he'd officially be activated for this week's game.

He must have felt fine this morning.

The Ravens activated Reed and linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo from the PUP list Saturday, as expected.  The team placed tackle Jared Gaither on injured reserve and waived linebacker Edgar Jones to make room for the two players who will make their season debut against the Bills Sunday.

Baltimore could be adding a lot of talent at midseason.  They have a bye next week, and then linebacker Tavares Gooden and wide receiver Donte' Stallworth may be ready to return from injuries after that.
