Eagles CB Samuel, WR Cooper out; RB McCoy questionable

Concussions will keep Eagles CB Asante Samuel and WR Riley Cooper out of Philadelphia's Sunday-night game with the 49ers.

In addition, OG Nick Cole (knee) and RB LeSean McCoy (rib) are both questionable for the game. McCoy participated fully in Friday's practice after sitting out on Wednesday and Thursday while Cole sat out practice completely after being limited the past two days.

QB Michael Vick remains out with a rib injury.

An already banged-up Eagles squad would take a big hit if McCoy is out of action on Sunday night — especially with Cooper out. The running back, who leads the team in both rushing yards (273) and receptions (23), was relied upon heavily by QB Kevin Kolb last week.

While the fifth-ranked Eagles pass defense has been strong, it will likely take a hit with the loss of Samuel, the starting left corner.

Fantasy Spin

Look for RB Mike Bell to get carries with or without McCoy suited up. With Kolb under center and McCoy not being 100 percent if he does play, Philadelphia could lean on its running game.
