Damage Control: Darren McFadden Dinged Up, Michael Bush Ready

Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden has become a top 10 fantasy running back, at least through four games of the season. With 392 yards rushing and 162 yards receiving and two touchdowns, McFadden is a must-start, dual threat from the backfield every Sunday.

His status for the Raiders Week 5 match up against the San Diego Chargers is up in the air after McFadden injured his hamstring on Sunday and was seen gingerly walking around the locker room on Monday. Because of the injury, McFadden only carried the ball 12 times against the Texans.

McFadden told reporters that he was feeling all right, but didn't answer any other questions. That wasn't the case for another Raiders running back Michael Bush, who is making his was back from a broken thumb.

"I'm going to practice without the whole thing so I can get back to my natural ways and not have to worry about anything," Bush said. "I caught the ball good (Sunday), didn't feel any pain when I was using it, so I'm good to go." Bush says he's ready to get back to a full workload and willing to prove it by practicing without the thumb brace that he's used since returning to the field.

The news on Bush couldn't come at a better time for the Raiders as McFadden and Michael Bennett, who also suffered a hamstring injury on Sunday, are both going to need to heal a bit to be ready to play in Week 5.
