Tennessee Titans RB LeGarrette Blount punched a teammate in the facemask on the final play of practice Wednesday, Aug. 18, and was quick to apologize to head coach Jeff Fisher for losing his cool, according to Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean. The incident occurred at the end of an intense practice when numerous shoving matches took place between the offense and defense. 'I promised to him it was behind me and that was in my past and it just came up again,'' a dejected Blount said. 'I got into a situation where the defense pushed me too far.' Fisher defended Blount, who missed practices earlier in the week after the death of his grandmother. 'I am not disappointed whatsoever,' Fisher said. 'His past is his past. Is that the first punch you've seen at camp this year? No. OK. I am not disappointed whatsoever. I have great confidence in the young man that he has learned from his mistake and is very competitive.'

Note to self...don't ever make Blount mad. In all seriousness Blount needs to watch his temper or he could find himself out of a job. He was suspended for most of last year for blasting a Boise State player in the face (he wasn't wearing a helmet) and it's a big reason why he fell out of the 2010 draft.
