Houston Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips has removed his name from consideration for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' head coaching position, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.Phillips was scheduled to interview on Friday.
Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray and former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman have interviewed for the position, as has former NFL head coach Marty Schottenheimer. Sherman is the clubhouse favorite to land the position.
