Kevin Kolb doesn’t practice, listed as questionable
When Kevin Kolb got traded from the Eagles to the Cardinals before the season, plenty of people looked at the schedule and saw that Kolb’s new team would be visiting his old team in Week 10.
The Cardinals will be in Philly this weekend, but we still don’t know if Kolb will be in the lineup. He didn’t practice all week thanks to his case of turf toe, but was somewhat surprisingly listed as questionable on the team’s injury report on Friday. When coach Ken Whisenhunt was asked if Kolb was questionable to start or questionable to back up John Skelton, Whisenhunt answered “questionable to play.”
The best guess is that Skelton will get the start over Kolb, but it looks like we’ll have to wait until Sunday to know for sure. The status of running back Beanie Wells is shrouded in less secrecy. He practiced fully and is listed as probable to play with the knee injury that has been bothering him for the last few weeks. Linebacker Joey Porter and safety Kerry Rhodes are both out.
