Frank Gore’s holdout from 49ers training camp won’t last long.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said today that Gore has decided to end his holdout and will arrive at the team’s practice facility tomorrow.
Gore will play under his current contract, although Harbaugh indicated that the 49ers are open to giving him a new deal.
“We’ll earnestly look at that in terms of extending him,” Harbaugh said, per Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com.
Gore is due to make $5 million this season, the final year of his current four-year, $28 million contract.
