Cowboys make tentative plans for training camp

At a time when a couple of franchises (the Ravens and the Jets) have scrapped plans for an off-site training camp, the Dallas Cowboys tentatively have picked a starting date.
Per the San Antonio Express-News, via CBSSports.com, the Cowboys plan to start practicing at the Alamodome on July 29.
Equipment will be moved into the facility starting on July 25, three weeks from today.
Though the development doesn’t mean that camp definitely will occur, the news is encouraging — especially since Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is in the thick of the labor negotiations.
Speaking of the negotiations, they start again tomorrow.  And if they spend less than 18 hours a day, every day, working on a settlement, we’ll spend more than 18 hours a day, every day, pointing it out.
