The New York Jets are not expected to fight to re-sign impending free-agent WR Braylon Edwards if other teams show interest in him when free agency begins.

Not a huge surprise here. And don't discount the negotiating angle on this. Clearly, the Jets have a good financial reason to act disinterested.
