Donovan McNabb’s lawn gets an unwelcome visitor

A hit-and-run driver crashed into a large fence on Donovan McNabb’s property over the weekend, knocking the fence down.
The Washington Post blog “The Reliable Source” has all the details. It appears that this wasn’t the case of some fan taking out pent-up lockout aggression.  (Or any unresolved feelings towards the 2010 Redskins.)
Around 2. a.m. ET on Saturday, Fairfax County police say that a vehicle on McNabb’s winding street apparently “crossed into the oncoming lane, hitting a mailbox on the far side, before veering back to the right and straight up onto McNabb’s property.”
The McNabb family wasn’t in town over the weekend, so they didn’t hear anything and everyone was safe.  McNabb’s wife Racquel was a lot nicer about the incident than you’d expect.
“I hope whoever did it is okay,” she said.
If only sports fans could be that forgiving when a high profile trade careens off the road.
