Dan Fouts Expects a 2011 Season

Hall of Fame San Diego Chargers quarterback and current CBS analyst Dan Fouts is confident NFL owners and players will get a deal done in time for a 2011 season, Mike Towne of the Great Falls Tribune reports.

"It would be unfathomable to me if there is no season. I can't believe there won't be a season," Fouts said at a Friday night fundraiser for the Montana State Football program.

The actions of U.S. District Judge Susan Nelson has helped boost Fouts' optimism that the labor situation will be resolved.

"It was good for the judge to force mediation," said Fouts..."I think both sides want to get it done. I know we're going to have a season."
