Quarterback Vince Young was told that he is not in the future plans for the Tennessee Titans after the team finished 6-10 and tied with the Houston Texans for last place in the AFC South.
The 27-year-old tells ESPN that wherever he lands next season, it will be as a starting QB. "Definitely I am a starting quarterback, an elite quarterback in the NFL," Young told the site. "I want to go ahead and start. But like it always is, the coaches have the last word."
Young threw for 1,255 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions this past season. He appeared in only nine games.
