Tim Tebow to start Broncos' season finale

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Tim Tebow is slated to start again in the team's season finale after leading the AFC West club to a comeback victory over the Houston Texans.
"There definitely was progress," Broncos coach Eric Studesville said in remarks distributed by the team. "He got much better, he made plays, he scrambled and did some things. He threw the ball well, got the ball down the field. He just continues to keep developing, and that is what it is.
"The more he plays, the better he will get. The more experience he has, the more situations he sees, everything was not perfect. It was not perfect, but he will get up there, he will look at the tape and he will get better from those things. An, we will get better from him the more he is there. There is something about that guy when he is out there running around, you just never know what is going to happen.”
There's been a clamor from fans for the Broncos to play Tebow, who has energized the offense.
Although Tebow has unorthodox, raw mechanics, he doesn't lack athleticism, size or heart.
"It is a process for any young player that is developing in this league," Studesville said. "He is making progress all the time, and that is all we can ask right now. He will continue to get better and better. And the more experience he gets, we all want him to be really, really good right now, because that is for all of our benefit, the better he is right now.
"But he works as hard as any person I have ever been around in this game and the limits, I do not know what they are right now. But, I know this, he is going to work as hard as he can every day and do everything he needs to fix to give himself and his team a chance to win football games.”
Asked to evaluate Tebow, Studesville was complimentary of the former Heisman Trophy winner.
“Every player does good and bad things," he said. "Tim is developing. There are things we are working on all the time; there are things he is going to get better at with experience in a game. He is going to get better at things this week that he did not do so well two weeks ago. That is the natural progression of things, is that guys see things.
"I think Tim is developing and Tim is doing all he can. We are doing all we can to help him and now the players are rallying around him too. All of that is going to play into it. As far as what he is, we just think he is going to keep getting better and better. Let’s not limit that. We will see where it goes, just keep getting better every week.”
The Broncos are still working with Tebow on his fundamentals.
“All of those little things are things we talk about all the time, him getting out from under center if he is underneath the center, the shotgun snap to him, what the cadence is and how the cadence works," Studesville said. "Every position has those little details and none of those details are too little for us.
"We talk about those things all the time because in this game a step the wrong way, a false step, those things make a big difference. So, we continue to emphasize the little things and we will going forward. That is what coaches do, that is what we have to do, that is our job."
