Last year, Oakland Raiders running back Michael Bush scored three touchdowns and rushed for 589 yards. It looks like the team may have to find those numbers from somebody else. Bush has fractured his thumb and could be out for six weeks, according to the Oakland Tribune.
The paper notes that Bush has had surgery on he thumb. A doctor not involved with the surgery said that it likely involved having "screws inserted into the bone to speed the healing process," the paper reports.
The Raiders aren't commenting on the injury or providing a timetable for Bush's return.
