S Gerald Sensabaugh out 3-4 weeks

OXNARD, Calif. -- An MRI on Sunday showed that Dallas Cowboys starting strong safety Gerald Sensabaugh suffered a subluxation in his left shoulder. He is expected to be sidelined three to four weeks, which could force him to miss the regular-season opener at the Washington Redskins on Sept. 12.

Kevin Connor, Sensabaugh's agent, said he's asking famed orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews to review the MRI results.

Sensabaugh, who was injured in the first quarter of Saturday's 16-14 victory over San Diego, will miss the Cowboys' final two preseason games.

Also, starting inside linebacker Keith Brooking has a mild sprain of the AC joint in his right shoulder. There is some swelling, but not enough to cause the Cowboys serious concern.

Brooking, who was injured in the first half, will likely miss the rest of the preseason as a precaution.

Sean Lee, the second-round pick from Penn State, replaced Brooking in the first-team lineup Saturday.

Barry Church, an undrafted rookie from Toledo, took Sensabaugh's spot in the lineup.
