The 1st pre-season game is almost here…

On Friday the 13th the Bills will travel to Washington to play the Skins. It will be Coach Gailey and Coach Shanahan’s first outings with there new teams. Chances are it will be a grinding out boring game as usual for the first game out of the box especially with both teams on the rebuilding mode. I’m sure McNabb will only play a series or two and the Bills will counter with Edwards for at least the first quarter. With all the injuries the Bills will only have a partial squad playing: Poz, Wang, Kelsay and Batten definitely won’t play and with others such as Stroud, Easley, Mitchell, Ellison, Bell, Spencer Johnson and Wood likely to see very little time if any at all.

Things to watch for:
Since the Bills defense is so far a head of the Bills offense, it will be interesting to see how the defense performs against an opposing offense. I’m looking forward to seeing the Bills new version of the 3-4 and the new aggressive style of play.
Will Trent throw the ball down field or continue to be Captain Checkdown? Most importantly can he hit a receiver on the run?
Who will move up into the #2 QB spot—Brohm—Fitz or Levi “501” Brown. I’ll be surprised if Fitz makes the final roster.
How much will Spiller get to play?
Can McKelvin rebound from his injury; he is having a horrid camp so far.

Keep an eye on NT Troup, LB/DE Ellis, RB Joique Bell, TE Stupar, DB Whitner and WR Chad Jackson---all are having an outstanding camp. It is game time and time to perform!!!
What will we see from Maybin???
Just remember it is only the first pre-season game and expect the game to be tedious with both teams working on fundamentals.
