Jon Beason casts his vote against Panthers signing T.O.

In case you were wondering, Terrell Owens won't be joining the Panthers. Carolina linebacker Jon Beason has made it perfectly clear that T.O. wouldn't be welcome.
"There's no way T.O. could be a Panther," Beason, who like Owens is represented by Drew Rosenhaus, said in an NFL.com chat. "Based on the fact that our ownership and coaches believe that the locker room is important and based on T.O.'s history, for whatever reason, he's been a distraction in the locker room."
For his part, Owens disputes that characterization: He says he proved in Buffalo that he's no distraction. But whether Owens thinks it's fair or not, that perception certainly exists in the NFL.
Right now, it doesn't look like Owens has a lot of suitors. Perhaps that will change when training camps open.
